Why you should have your children's portraits taken in February | Outdoor children's and family photographer, Loughborough, Leicester
I know...I know...it's cold outside. You really don't want to leave the warmth and comfort of your home unless your life depends upon it. It's been fun, playing games, building jigsaws, kicking a football around the kitchen (my son is driving me crazy with this!) but now they are starting to suffer the effects of cabin fever and the squabbling is becoming a bit of a pain.
It can only mean one thing! That it's time to get them outdoors!! If you've been following my facebook page you will see that I keep posting handy guides about what to do with your little cherubs over half term and ideas for getting them outdoors.
So you agree - it's a good idea to come out of hibernation and to brave the outdoors...
Why should you book a Photoshoot now? All they are going to do is complain about being cold - well, here's why.
- Once your children are outside and distracted they don't feel the cold (I can prove it - we took my son to the park on Sunday to play football. It was snowing and he stripped down to his football shirt - he's 6)
- The light is really pretty (I mean REALLY pretty!) no harsh sunlight causing you to squint, just a soft natural light that looks great in portraits
- There are no leaves on the trees which means that your portraits will contain muted browns and greys which make for a lovely backdrop and will look great on the wall in any home
- You can dress your kiddies in gorgeous knits and cute wellies and they will look absolutely adorable in their pictures.
