What to wear for your Autumn family photoshoot | Family photographer, Loughborough
So, you’ve booked your photoshoot and now you are faced with the daunting task of deciding what to wear!
Don’t worry, I’ve put together this handy video to make it all so much simpler (and what better excuse is there to get down to the shops to buy yourself a new outfit?!).
Key things to think about are:
Jeans are timeless and are an easy way to co-ordinate the family
The colours of Autumn are rich so think about introducing blocks of jewel colours - sapphire blue, amethyst purple, citrine yellow, emerald green… You don’t want the whole family to wear the same but the odd accent works well. And choose colours that co-ordinate - navy works well with most colours and could be used as a base.
Wellies and/or hats are a great way of introducing a pop of colour for the children.
Avoid bold prints and logos - these draw the eye away from the faces in the photographs and don’t tend to photograph well.
