Box of Smiles
I was introduced to Geni the founder of Box of smiles a few months ago.
She had started her business during lockdown and it had proven to be a great success! Her products were selling well to individuals but she wanted to expand into corporate gifting.
Her vision was for new homeowners to be greeted by a Box of Smiles when they entered their new home, for employers to show appreciation to their team for a job well done and for owners of new cars to receive a goodie box (remember when you used to receive a bouquet when you collected your new car?).
All occasions that make us smile!
The rebrand was complete, the next step was for the website to receive a refresh. This is where I came in. Geni needed a bank of beautiful images to showcase her products and allow her future clients to get to know the face behind the business.
As a Leicester based brand photographer, I have worked alongside numerous business owners like Geni. Whilst this has given me a breadth of experience I can honestly say that no 2 shoots are the same. My service is completely bespoke and I worked closely with Geni in the run up to her photoshoot to ensure that I really understood the message that we needed to deliver.
Geni opted for 3 hours of photography time across 3 locations with a number of outfit changes.
Do you remember the 2 days of snow we had back in January??? Yep, the first day was the day of our photoshoot and the first location was Woodhouse Eaves. After a hair raising drive to the venue we got stuck in. We choose A Place To Meet in Woodhouse because it gave a homely studio feel which showed Box of Smiles to be large home-based business.
A key aspect of Geni’s business is the personal touch - although she may receive an order for 300 boxes, they will be completely bespoke to her client. We wanted to demonstrate that large orders can be fulfilled and that they will not feel generic in any way.
The following locations were 2 beautiful properties in Coleorton. We captured some environmental portraits of Geni and also showed the products in situ for their happy recipients!
Following the photoshoot I took several boxes back to my office to be photographed in a flatlay format.
In a short period of time we created many months of content for Geni. The images are all consistent and deliver the same message making the marketing of Box of Smiles a breeze!
If you are looking for something different to gift to your clients or employees pop over and have a look at Geni’s sparkly new website! (The hero image on the top of the homepage is one of my favourites from the session).
If you are rebranding and updating your website I would love to chat to you! Please feel free to get in touch…
